Sunday Walk In the Prairies
Enjoying a nice snack next to the Buffalo River. We had a mink run right next to us down the river bed. Saw several different types of ducks, geese, deer, heard pheasants, and prairie chickens. A few song birds are back from their winter vacation.

Thanks for visiting Røisehavn blog, and your kind words. I didn't realize there were options to put so many photos on the side of the blog. I'm not done yet.
Visiting Buffalo State Park is always a good nature hike. We missed getting there last year, but the year before was when I got that photo of Jack-in-the-Pulpit which I entered in Lake Region Electric's photo calendar contest. It wasn't chosen for use on their calendar, but it did show up in one of their monthly reports.
P.S. That was me who deleted my first comment, which was this same comment as above, but it had a typo. I couldn't leave it. Too obsessive I guess.
