Heres Brett (a friend from church) and I after decoying a couple of mallards. Brett got both these birds at over 50 yards with a 20ga! Great shot, never mind his first time duck hunting.

Thats pretty good considering opener was slow for most hunters and only local birds where around. Hopefully this cold weather starts the migration soon!

No, It is his own 20ga. Uncle Harland's gun has actually been sawed off! It is a double barral Stephens. Nice grouse or pheasant gun, or for intimidating people. I don't know who did it. My guess would by Harland not Grampy. It sounds more like his doing.
